Teclast X80H tablet - Windows 8.1

My previous post commented on Teclast X80H UX (user experience), in this post, I would share on how to overcome difficulties when using Windows 8.1 in this tablet.

Teclast X80H come with a five point multi touch screen, it is eight inch size. When boot into Android OS, it perfectly suit for online browsing / photo viewing / play movie.

User may find difficulty when boot up Windows 8.1 with highest screen resolution: 1280 x 800.

- how to select a file when folder display items in list view?
some people may decided increase icon size but remain screen resolution, well, this create not balance view, I think.

- how to click arrow next to clock on the task bar? or click the network icon to select a WiFi connection?
Well, the icon was definitely small, and myself always click the wrong icon.

- how to navigate on a right click menu?

My suggestion have two: first, get a stylus pen, or second, get a bluetooth mouse. Yes, a stylus that shape like a ball pen as touch point, will easier user to select multi files and writing.

Myself didn't allocate budget on these two tools, so this is what I did:

Connect my old mobile phone Sony Ericsson K700i to Teclast X80H via bluetooth, after connected, use the build in function - Remote Control - in bluetooth, act like a bluetooth mouse. with this, save my cost for next trick: small screen display.

As mention earlier, 8 inch screen is good for Android but not for Windows.
Solution for this, get a HDMI cable with micro HDMI connector.

Spend for weeks in marketing survey, found this set of HDMI convert tool that suit my needs:

This set of HDMI converting tools cost me Malaysia Ringgit 49.00 (include Government Service Tax), it come with one 1.8 meter length HDMI cable, one convertor to micro HDMI and one convertor to mini HDMI.

Connect this table to monitor can be done within a minute, and here is the result.

My suggestion on Teclast X80H, this device is portable and light weight for mobility usage, due to it limited storage, processor power and unable upgrade memory, it can't replace desktop / laptop in heavy task for long term daily basic.
